Right guys - Tournament begins Sunday - although a few map updates will made by friday and a few insy bitty rule changes too - but we need to start organizing the first set of matches.
I am going to open four threads - you will see each of them appear soon - Onslaught, Team Deathmatch, Bombing run and Capture the flag. Please keep these forums stricly for tournament follow ups - and use this thread to discuss them - the match - or anything else. Flaming and discussion in them might make appropriate Clan's miss their calls to play.
Keep looking at these forums - as when your match is called - it means you need to place in your negotiations with a date/time to play your match with the team you are called for.
I will call two matches at a time, we'll finish first the 1/16 and 1/8 sections. once complete we will move to 1/4 then 1/2 and then final. This applies to the double elimation too.
Admins available - please contribute in those threads whether you will be available for the match - I'll need the replays and the screenshot for each game. I would suggest the Clan's asking the Admins when they will be available and try and fit their schedules in - if I can get Admin rights - and someone can explain to me how to get the server recording - that would help as I will plan to be available as much as possible.
Also TheProven - I'm told you can help me with Admin access - this would be great if you can - so that I can make myself available for these matches where there are no admins especially.
I think the date/time negotion should be as follows.
Here is an Example:

Clan A and Clan B agree Tues 12 July 21:00.
Admin must be present - and record the matches and send those to to me please, also please send the screenshots - please send them to tourney@gamemasters.co.za - no admin - no recording - then the match must be played at another time. I will need every recording incase there are problems. Also I need the screenshots as I will need to update the tourney quickly after the match.
If the admin is available, Clan A and Clan B will then meet at the agreed server at 21:00. they may warmup together for no longer than 30min. but by 21:30 - the match must begin - if a Clan is short players - a postponement will only be accepted once per match - the second time the Clan will have to play handicapped. Technical problems will be acceptable (from the server side) - but for the Clans, if all is right please don't start later than 30min after the meeting time. This would be unfair to both Clans playing their match. Please guys - make sure all your members arrive on time - it will make this tourney move smoother.
A total of three games must be played in the match. The maplist as on our website - must be played (in any order - please see the maplist - it is self explanatory) - each game must last 20min (Ons will be 15Min per match) - which means the average time for the tournament match should be an 1 hour or less. Play all three maps - even if the first two are won by one Clan - as every game counts as a point to your overall score.
At the end of the match - the admin will send me the replay and screenshots - and I will post the results and call the next match... and so on.
