<p>According to an <a href="http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/65448">unsourced article over at ShackNews</a>, Duke Nukem series creator 3D Realms has relinquished their property rights to the Duke Nukem brand to new Duke Nukem Forever developer, Gearbox. The move gives Gearbox complete rights to the Duke Nukem name.</p>
