If you have qualified and want to play in the ladder, put your name down here so I can draw up the teams.

Please note the part in the rules where it says all matches will take place over weekends. If you can't do weekends, don't sign up. While we'll be able to handle a few no-shows, having a large number will screw the ladder considerably.

I'll try and draw up the rest of the rules before the weekend. If all goes well the ladder should start next week Monday.

Gentlemen, as it stands we're in a bit of a spot.

I only have 13 confirmations so far from ranked players. The ladder is going to be a bit "broekskeur" with so few people. I can do something for Boogey and Pox (ito getting a qualifying ranking), but I'll have to check the numbers first in case of Nevets.

This leaves us with a possible 16, which really is the minimum (IMO).

So, do we change the format of the ladder? Wait and hope for more ranked players to sign up?

u can wait if u want or organise something for the extra few that wants in

u can just get 7 random guys that wanna play...if they put their names here...i'm sure that will add an extra level of tensity to the ladder, cause noone really know how these 7 players really play or how good they are

...sorta like new recruits for a war that could erupt at any moment....

if u wanna have sum idea of how they play u can let them play a few mathes first...

That is not a bad idea at all! I like it very much. :D

The ranked players should add stability and a modicum of predictability to the two teams. The unranked players will shake it up a bit and, as you said, make things more unpredictable and tense.

also, we already know how most of the guys play ONS, so it wont really work ito "randomness" :/

wrt number of players, what about dropping the qualifying match total to maybe 6/7? looking @ this list http://unreal.co.za/forums/showthread.php?t=643 (which is obviously out of date, right?) we should be able to get some more players. i hope :/

It's already down to 7. 5 or 6 will yield no extra candidates, and I'm not willing to go down to 4.

What we can do is extend an invitation to play in the ladder to a few select players. The more we can get into the ladder, the better it will be.

Things will have to be finalised by Monday though, otherwise we'll be delayed for another week.
