Mine is still running standard @ 2.4, do you have any additional cooling?

@ HAz. OC depends on so many factors, it is impossible to say.
It depends on the chip you have (not just the model, the actual chip, some OC better than others, as not all chips are made equal, they all have tolerences etc). it also depends on your ram, cooling play a big part, mobo, etc etc.
I would say you got some ehadroom there, but you may need extra cooling, especially if you are upping the core voltage, as you could fry it (and I can gaurantee its not covered by the warranty then :P)
@ Goz, dont be a pu##@$y, OC your chip if you need to. Just do it slowly, and check the temps. the worst case scenario is your pc freezes, to which you reboot (and may have to reset bios manually). Just go up slowly, and make sure your chip stays relatively cool (use Everest to check temps, monitors then accurately). On stock cooling, alot of ppl get 3.4Ghz on an E6600 (stock 2.4). A quad may run hotter, not sure.
If you need extra cooling, I would go Zalman, or personally, Thermalright. Water cooling is nice, but more schlep than its worth IMHO unless you plan on running your chip 24/7 at higher speeds.
Yo Haja, thanks for replying, I replied awhile ago, I currently sit on 3.0GHZ for my Quad Core. Its been running stable for a month. Ontop of that, its in a small Aerocool_Racer_ chassis (http://www.neowebstyle.com/recensioni_modding/Aerocool_Racer_3b.jpg)
Temperature is constantly on 50degrees or so.
im using 2 1GB Kingmax DDR2 800 Ram
Asus P5E Motherboard
Gigabyte G-Power CPU Cooler
