hey guys.i just need to know...im getting a new pc.

specs are: quad core cpu(dont know which 1.tink 2.4ghz??)
1 gig ddr 2
8800gt

will this be able to run crysis and and u.t 3 on high?:confused:

I doubt it, but it will run it pretty well.

I would go for 1 more gig of ram at least.

You should be able to run UT3 on high without issue, but unfortunately, there's no hardware you can buy yet, which will run Crysis on it's highest settings :)

ok i went for 2 gigs.it plays crysis on high.not very high.but high:clap:dont have vista.cant even see what very high looks like:(

As Shrimp says, until the next generation of graphics cards comes out, you won't be able to see Crysis fully maxed and running smoothly, so I'm pretty sure the rig you've got is more than capable. Relax, broseph :)

Google a bit - there is a workaround for enabling Very High details on DX9 machines running Windows XP. It's not going to be fast, of course, but you'll be able to at least see what the fuss is about.
