I get that error everytime I run UT, I also got it yesterday but when I ran it again it worked?
so what should I do?

okay, I solved it
The problem was kak ATi drivers. Didn't have Direct3D enabled, so I installed older drivers

Personally I wouldve removed the MyDoom RPC virus that is shutting your pc down in 59...58...57, before posting :) At least you're updating your antivirus/installing anti virus. Takes like 30 seconds of being on the web to get that damn thing!

I was multi-tasking like crazy... hehe
I had a virus so the first thing I did after I formatted was update my virus database...

Use D3D for ATIs, and OpenGL for nVidia's, in general ofcourse
