OMW, that map rocks.

This guy basicaly just copied the middle tower, and put two more there. Lifted the maps ceiling.....hiiiiiiighhh.........and added an incredible amount of deemers ion painters, mantas...raptors......ion cannon tanks.......

well....just about everything. Theres also like 3 turrets and a tank at your primary node, which might just make for a goood comeback when your down to 1 node.........

Definitely give it a test drive......

Hmm, tried it last night with bots.

I managed to get them down to the final node pretty easily, but after that it's fairly impossible to actually construct that node and attack the core (since they have a quick respawning Leviathan and Ion Tank defending). They also couldn't get the node up since my team had easy access to an Ion Tank which quickly takes out the node and anyone trying to build it in one shot.

Just have to wait for the core to drain...

Might be fun for the first 5 minutes, but after that it gets pretty tedious really quickly... Playing it 3 times in a row to complete it properly would be extremely tiresome.

That's my main beef with these "uber" user maps. The authors throw in everything (save the kitchen sink) in an attempt to make it different and fun. Instead, it just becomes tedious and frustrating (at least to me).

That said, I'll try it out myself sometime. :)

I almost hate that map, but CTF joust is actually pretty fun if you only 2 per team... after that it just goes off the wall.

remember that defense @ that 1st node has been buffed up as well, there are more vehicles & weapons (target painters etc) to be found in the base. alot truly has been added, but i think we need a proper game on the map before making any comments. i supose it could still suck, but it could also be an excellent map gievn the MANY possibilities opened up with all the new additions.

one example i can give is by looking @ what shrimp said wrt the defense/offense @ the final node. sure they have a leviathan @ their base, but where has yours been during the whole game? sleeping @ home? u have a few raptors, a few mantas, a few superweapons & ion tanks @ your disposal. from a different perspective, the team defending their core @ that point have a few turrets (which are quite powerful), a few mantas, superweapons, ion tank, leviathan for them to play with.

it'll be an interetsing map to play on in the long run, since nobody has a proper/effective strategy against other players yet.
