According to www.starcraft2.com (the official site) a gameplay movie will be released tomorrow.
Rpg's for the boring....... yawn, my opinion.

Actually, they've overhauled quite a bit so far. Of the four listed units for the Protoss, only the Zealots remain from the original and even then, they have a passive new ability.
Zerglings also have a new ability so looks like they're mixing it up a bit.
All in all, this is probably the game that's got me more excited than any other (yes, I'm looking at you, MGS2 and UT3)

I can't wait for this game, hope it will be well balanced just like starcraft 1. And I wonder what the population limit will be hopefullly more then 200 so that we can have massive battles.
I hope it doesn't disappoint.

TO be honest thou, i highly doubt that it will be anything but spectacularly brilliant.
I cant believe that i am this excited for this....:)
I rate it will be nothing spectacular.
Sames races, Mostly the same units, Different story and well...ja
Warcraft 3 was totally different from Warcraft 2.
SC2 Looks like a heavily upgraded version of SC1.
Give me a Krylov FA-37 :)

Well it is not exactly released yet so there is a chance, even if that means it is "heavily upgraded", that it could very well be a large improvement over SC1.
besides, same 3 races, wow, which were simply the best races u could control in a game.
I am praying thou they will learn from WC3, and dont bugger around with heroes. They cannot be the focus, but i do doubt that will the case as well.
In any case, feel free to be happy with ur krylov thing. ill take battle cruisers, carriers or ultralisks :)

Hmm...don't think there's too much to worry about there. They've definately acknowledged the differences between SC & WCIII regarding heroes, small v big armies and macro v micromanagement so I don't think heroes will play a very big part (if, at all).
One of the videos had a massive Zergling swarm, I've seen quite a number of Marines and not one hero as of yet :)
From what I've read so far, it's shaping up to be much closer to the original than adapting the SC universe to the way WCIII plays and that, boys and girls, can only be good news :)

I suppose the encouragement we can take is that they've been working on this since 2003 (just after the release of The Frozen Throne), and multiyplayer is already playable with all three races, so I'm realistically expecting mid to late next year (hopefully Blizzard don't toy with us the way Epic's been doing :P)
To be honest, right this very second, I couldn't care less about UT3 because of this game. This could change within a few months, who knows, but just the fact that we've got screenies, videos etc gets me hyped up about this game and I think if Epic would, just now and then, release the odd new screenie or video, I'd still have been amped for UT3.

Yeah, I checked the developer walk threw.
The Protoss Mothership is insane. black hole, earth cracker and time shield. I wonder what other super weapons there will be.
I hope they really balance the game, coz otherwise it won't be cool having 1 strong side.
And I need more units, didn't see anything cool from the terran. And at least they said the battles are going too be huge so I can't wait.

Borne from lots of nostalgia, came the sudden need to play the campaign again. Finished the Terrans a few days ago, almost done with the Zerg (on that mission where you mustn't let a single Dark Templar escape, you get Nydus canals for the first time).
Despite the 9 years since it's inception, it still delivers. Now, that either says alot about the game or very little about the industry in general these days :)

Damn , My Dvd drive wont read my SC game, strangely it does not won't to read any of my older games that r on cd Diablo2 included - FUCK.....

I disagree
Diablo 2 pwns all RPGs most addictive imo, i played it for 2 years
Earth 2160 is unbalanced aliens to powerful, SupCom needs still to be patched for much better performance
SC > WC3 :P
And pacman is the best game ever :) played it the other day at the arcade it rocks. hehe

Baldurs Gate 2 = Story + DnD + RPG_Realism
Im more partial to WC3.

I see, no wonder I just enjoyed Diablo 2 and not Baldurs Gate 2 :P, Hack and slash is the best so Hellgate:London will be hack n slash game too?
Earth 2160 is one cool game, I remember the first time I played it, didn't know wtf was going on. :)
