kzn Lan this weekend

Attention all those attending the durban lan this weekend (14th april)
with regard to the time of the event.... many of us unfortunately work on a saturday, and the lan will therefore only begin at 14:00. if this a problem for anyone, please let us know asap and we will have to make alternative arrangements
ie. postpone the lan or......? :(

but things are really coming together guys... we've got an awesome location, eager gamers, one of the best games available to play, and the spirit to make this lan a success. :D

um... i just read the posts from yesterday and with regard to the comment of sydney road being dodgy... i fully agree! however all vehicles will be parked and locked behind a secure gate :) hakuna matata dudes. no worries it'll be safe

I can spend 2 hours or so there, I guess, but it seems a bit pointless :(

Imho i reckon we postpone for a week or two.

It would be nicer to have a few more hours of gameplay . Besides it also only looks like it would roughley about 6 - 10 of us and I would be able to make a plan for a smaller venue quite easy.

I work on most Sat. and am only available in the afternoons and moving my machine around for an hour or two seems like a waste to me :(

Besides I am in the process of trying to get my Machine up and running again after recieving the Infamous blue screen with white writing on it last night. Some sh1t about mounted_boot error or something.

Nearley there should have it sorted by tommorrow though.

since becoming addicted to the forums i have been going to an internet cafe' every evening and i found out about an intresting lan proposition :rolleyes:
for 6 people to lan on a weekend night it's R40 per gamer......and if you bring 6 people the 6th one's free.i think it's a pretty good deal :) lan starts at about 7 and carries on until gamers are ready to pass out. :P
however the location might be a problem for some ( especially those high maintenance players ;) )
the internet cafe's in malvern. it's literally just up the road from my house.
details can be discussed once response is given.....
