Yea, I love cricket :p

Used to open the bowling and inflict bruises against the opening batsmen. They usually did not last very long. Even though I was better at bowling, I enjoyed batting the most.

West Indies played well.

I hope SA beats the Aussies!!! Even if we dont win the world cup, at least keep the #1 ranking.

The cricket world cup is somewhat boring atm. It will only really get better during the super eight stage.

i really dont like the NZ cricket team, what with okes like Daniel Vittori. They have the gayest game stlye around.
Having said that they are playing flippin well atm, so they ill probly win.

That over with six 6's was awesome. I feel sorry for the poor bowler :p

If it had been a proper 50 over game, we would have reached 500 runs. We scored 179 off the last 11 overs.

Well S.A only just, really only very slightly just beat Sri Lanka. Always a team who gives us a really hard time, With 5 wickets in hand and a little under 30 runs to get, that bolwer who chucks the ball(howtf can his action be legal?????), gets 4 wickets in 4 balls.
O sheeeet. got to 2 runs with 0 wickets, but Pieterson(bless him) got a thick edge for 4.

lol I know, I still don't get how the Australians haven't called him out (like they did Muralitharin (spelling???)), since they are the ones who traditionally complain about that.

It's been explained to me that, apparently, his action is perfectly legal since he doesn't cock his arm, it's always in a straight line. I guess in the same way that if you really wanted to, you could probably bowl under-arm :P

ye snake, Not sure of the specifics but it will be the angle of ur upper arm in relation to ur forearm etc, thus the angle of ur elbow.
But in the same way, he releases the ball at a ridiculous angle from his shoulder. if u had to take the shoulder at rest/level, most bowlers have their arm anything over 55degrees Someone like Shaun pollock who has is arm very near vertical.
Malinga he is like at 30. I dont like it. It must be so hard to read where the balls is coming from. and that hair........my god.

I get what you're saying about reading the ball, even from our POV it's fucking hard trying to estimate where it could be headed as opposed to any other fast bowler in world cricket with a more conventional action.

And yes, that hair is rather awful. :P

SA is on a high at the moment after that win. They will want to do their utmost to win the next game. Remember, we are the only team that has really given the Aussies a run for their money in the world cup so far.
