Is that a good price?
Can you play games in wide screen?
--EDIT--
Price for a brand spanking new one, https://www.megastore.co.za/product_info.php?products_id=4769 so not that great a deal.

Sneaky

Thank you for your valued input. FYI the Monitor is brand new it was purchased on the 23/02/07 so it is only 11 days old and I know this is a good price as your link states R3,076.77.

I would appreciate if you keep your opinion to yourself before trashing another members thread. I don't believe i am ripping anyone off

I hardly stick my neck into these types of sale threads, I will give a suggestion. Although it is in fact 11 days old, when somethings second hand it loses like 10 % of the value immediately, its like when you drive a new car out of the shop it's devalued instantly by a stupid %.

Anyways to cut to the chase, if you're looking for a quick sale, I would suggest 10% off the retail/ purchased price and see how that goes...anyways serious buyers are always looking for a deal and a 10% reduction could be very appealing...

Sneaky does have a point, I would rather pay the R200 more for an unopened box, that an opened one, one never knows who's tampered with it (not saying you have, just saying)

Moral of the story, don't impulse buy, you're bound to get at a loss somewhere along the line.

GL with the sale.

Yeah, except I would STRONGLY recommend that you not even consider purchasing anythign from that place. Seriously.

Oh, and I'm considering this deal, but it is a little pricey and I don't want to make an accidental impulse buy myself.

I'm not really going to use it for gaming, but it will be used (almost immediately) for displaying some video content in a public space and then afterwards as a moitor for video editing. Does anyone know if it would be good in those two applications?

Also, Revilo, where do you stay?

Yeah, look. It doesn't matter if it's 11 days old or frikken 3 months old, it's a second hand monitor that you wanna sell for 100 bucks less that what it costs if you buy it new. Then the buyer still has to pay for shipping PLUS insurance, and there's another couple hundred bucks.
