Final Fantasy XII

Has anyone tried this game yet?

My brother brought the game home last night, needless to say I got to bed too late :p

The introduction is amazing... some lovely FMV's!!!

After playing my PS2 last night for the first time in a while, I can definately see why consoles will survive. No need to download a patch, install some new driver, etc. Just pick up the control and play!

So far on my initial impressions, I would recommend FFXII to any RPG'er out there. It's 10000 times better than Oblivion :cool:

Only played it for 2 days :/

Seems good, but hardly have time anymore.

I have Final Fantasy coursing through my blood!

Im sure you can find an hour here and there to play. The problem is... after you have played what seems to be one hour... you look at the time, and 3 hours have passed :p

Ye, I realised from Final Fantasy 10, that I'd encounter that same problem again in XII :)
Highly addictive stuff. But I'll definitely not neglect the game after my board exam :P

ehehe good luck with the exam... rather pass now and have plenty hrs later to play, than play a bit now... fail and miss out on all those hrs of gaming at a later stage :p

Yeah, I have every game in the FF series, absolutely brilliant! The best one is undoubtedly FF7, which brought RPGs into the mainstream, if you haven't played it yet DO SO NOW! Has the best combat/magic/weapons system I have ever seen in any game not to mention the mini games.

yea, the materia system on FF7 was da bomb ;p

keeeeling those Weapon beasties was a big accomplishment.

Its not too late to get a ps2 :) they going DIRT cheap now. And there's plenty of guys selling them 2nd hand on prophecy.

yea, FF7 goes back to 1995 if my memory serves me correctly... its the reason I didnt do as well as I shudda at school :p

its definately my all time fav rpg game!
