fist of all u have to kill Roshan on the map,this is quite easy hes that red dot middle right,after u have done that run into the enemies base and destroy the fountain,thats the goal of the game :D

online DotA is not no0b friendly I hear some will try to polish my gameolay before attempting online :)

I used to play DotA. You are correct, most people there are very unfriendly towards newer players. Mind you, a lot of them are pretty unfriendly to everyone and everything in existence, so brace yourself :D
It's one of the reasons I rarely play DotA anymore (BF2142 ftw :P)

Managed ta get the basic jist of the game over the weekend . And i must say I really enjoyed it. Played a few games against my sister and was pure fun, fun, fun .

I can only imagine what it would be like with a couple of other heros in da game aswell. Unfortunately when i play on my ace there are no udder heros , but atleast i can experiment with characters , spells, items etc.

I never imagined that it would be so complex so I am sure this will keep my attention for quite some time . Hopefully I can persuade some of my mates to play so that at our Lans I could play against more people or when the next "big" lan comes up in Durbs Iam sure I will find some other players.

Btw - The colours are really pretty :)

g5, just a warning (and I mean this in all seriousness) : Some people are able to resist it, but if it bites you, I guarantee that you will have an inner struggle if you ever want to leave it. It's probably the most addictive multiplayer game I've ever played.

That IS damn right Gamma :) the DOTA players are worse than the counter strike kiddies, this is how their logic works 1) if you are getting owned you are a noob and must therefor be insulted forever by these little verbally challenged kiddies who only seem to know how to use a few vulgar words in conjuntion with the odd "fuck", but when you bring in a little vocab and proper use of the english language they start crying 2)if you are a better player than them you are then ridiculed for being a haxing noob only because the child has not learnt humility nor that people are waaaaay better than them 3) if the player is skilled he does not know the word thank you or well done or thanx for the help because he is all high and mighty and unable to bow to us mere mortals who inevitably abandon the retard to go and take the world (like 2pac) and thus he dies and then resorts to calling his team (who happens to be doing well) a bunch of useless fucking noobs for not helping him.

@ Snake LOL :) i find ut and css to have the same sort of addictive affect that also goes for a good 1on1 in wc3 :)

hehe, ive been playing DOTA online for the past few nights since my UT ports are blocked for now, and yes, it is VERY addictive and a total different experience online, ive played AI alot and its actually not hard at all, theres a few main items in the game that u will probably buy with every hero u play, especially strength and Agility heroes, like Sanga & Yasha, monkey king bar, Butterfly etc etc.....

The game is all about heros combining their abilities as well as what items u buy ur hero.... loads of fun

Saint if i may say so in reality there are only a select few heroes which validate buy a s&y becuase of the cost involved and the mediocre gain for certain heroes. You should see how a good dota clan plays omw they fucking rape team work is excellent and the manner and timeing of their skill execution is perfect!!!

Have any of you ever played a DotA clannie? Its so so so much fun. There are no laggers quitters etc.. but as AdV3nt said team work is insane and all the different strats, really awesome. AdV3nt/Saint whats your aka in wc3?

Raz i played in the DOTA comp at rage last year oms it was awesome but i mean while my whole team is excellent indiviually when it came to team strats and that we were totally outclassed and well got raped :) but it really is something to see how some of the okes execute their skills and strats :D
