heya,
I need to put in 5 computers at work. We currently have a 2003 server running with about 20 pc's off it. Now, can I intergrate some linux boxes onto the server?
I basically want to put 5 pc's on the production line, and make them boot into a file, that has access to some pdf files. that is all they will be used for. is there a free linux OS to do this and is it free, and as mentioned, could it integrate into the network?
Also, can i make these pc's connect wireless to the lan (if i get a wireless hub and some wireless network cards for the pc)? They are about 50m max from the server, if not closer.
