The Deathadder and Habu are strikingly similar in shape.
Very much so, Cripple after holding your Habu (no not baby) I think I want to get one also, the thumb buttons on the mouse are amazing for quick weapon swopping. ;)

AFAIK, Microsoft and Razer work together a lot of their mouse technology, which would explain why the Habu and Deathadder look so similar.

Actually... Jaymac... the Habu is running on a Razer engine... if you look underneath the mouse... it says Microsoft® Habu™ Powered by Razer Precision! ;):P

After 7+yrs of hardcore gaming (ave. 3 hrs per day, everyday :) ) and having used every mouse extensively, that being: mx500,510,518,G5,mx1000, Razor Diamondback and Copperhead. I can honestly say that I am really enjoying the Habu most of all. It has the feel of a logitech and the accuracy of a Razor, imho the best of both worlds.
Now I just have to find me one.....

ROFL Jaymac... :P
Anyhow... WTF is this?!?!?!:
At this point the mouse reached 500Hz, but would not refresh at 1000Hz when set as such in the drivers. I then ran the wire to the back of the PC and plugged it in there. To my surprise, the drivers wouldn't detect the mouse when plugged into the back of my PC. As a result I couldn't set the mouse to 1000Hz at all.
(NOTE: The vast majority of mice I've tested, especially those from Microsoft and Logitech, have no problem reaching 1000Hz when plugged into the test system regardless of which port used.)
...and...
The biggest problem with the Deathadder's courage under fire, however, is that the left mouse button on my review sample has a tendency to stick or not register clicks. As you can imagine, these problems are completely unacceptable. Within a day of using the mouse I had accidentally slapped a teammate in the face with a rocket and missed out on three kills due to unregistered clicks.Wonder if I should get the Habu instead then!?!?!
NAUT... you got a DeathAdder right? You get the same issue? Sticky clicks (not talking about when you jizz on your mouse ffs :P)???
Cheers!

My MX518 has the same problem. Normally, before gaming, I have to blow under the primary button to make sure it won't happen in game, and then it still does.
After a while I just learned to live with it though.

My biggest prob with Razor is the s/ware, as this fucks out 1st followed by the mouse itself...believe me when I say I been there done that.
WarHead get the Habu.
Stop all this huge quoting and senseless debating, just get the feking Habu dude :P:P

ROFL... Habu is lweking good... will do my research first though noobies! :P:P:P
Check this aswell:
Clearly there is a hardware problem that the DeathAdder exhibits when you use both the 900dpi and 450dpi settings. You hit negative acceleration sooner and also get malfunction at lower speeds. My recommendation is to leave the mouse at 1800dpi and not touch the lower resolution settings until this problem has been solved, possibly by a firmware update. So instead of using the 900 and 450dpi settings, simply halve or quarter your sensitivity in-game instead.
:(:(:(
I really like the Deathadder... but 2 out of 3 reviews that have summin bad 2 say ain't kewl man... but 1 out of 3 thusfar had the click problem... might've just been a factory dud! :P

LOL... I got a MX518... but I need more controll... naut made me realize the other evening... I overshoot, even on 800dpi and 0.35 sens, coz my thumb doesn't touch the mouse pad with the MX518... I don't want to replace it just "coz naut said so", but it makes allot of sens, and I've seen how people like 4lien (You fag :P), and Cripple-X's aim has improved with the Habu, so if I can improve my aim even more... so be it... then I can say: "Beware Z1 and Struma, I also got a WTF aim now!"... :P Lol... just kidding, I just want to reach a good level of aim, and I think my MX518 is holding me back a little... :P
Anyhow... here is summin nice:
Razer's new mouse is the top performer of all gaming mice we have ever tested. The DeathAdder blows away all competition in the ESReality Mousescore 2007 rankings. With these results to back it up, it would be fair to say that no mouse you can buy today comes close to matching the performance of the DeathAdder. To top it off, Razer have packaged this incredible mouse in arguably the best looking body. The DeathAdder is not a cheap mouse, but if you have the cash it is currently the best you can buy.
;););)
Still reading a few Habu reviews aswell! :D
Cheers!

Yeah WH, I agree with the thumb problem on the MX518. That's the mouse I am using atm and although I really like it, I continuously overshoot. Getting my xhair onto the target is not the problem, it's when I click to shoot that I lose control because not enough of my hand is actually in contact with the pad.
Well, that and the fact that I dropped my screen off the back of a bakkie and it flickers horribly while I'm trying to shoot at stuff.

Anyway, I have found out that my little mousie is not as bad as everyone purports. In fact it is better than alot of the so called "top end" models :P.
If I had to upgrade {which I`m thinking about doing} I would get the Razer Krait. (http://www.esreality.com/?a=longpost&id=1265679&page=9)
