Sigh... another car for the super rich.

Source: http://www.gizmag.com/go/6715/

Extract: January 10, 2007 While we love concept cars, and we’re enamoured with futuristic power train technologies, but we must admit that one of the most alluring vehicles at the Detroit (NAIAS) Motor Show was the diesel-engined, production-ready Audi Q7 V12 TDI. It’s now nearly two decades since Audi invented the TDI engine, so it’s nice to see the technology being presented it in an all-new high-tech, range-topping guise. Derived from the company’s all-conquering race car which won everything it entered in 2006, including the Le Mans 24 hour, the now production-ready version of V12 TDI engine produces 368 kW/500 bhp and 1,000Nm of torque.

my god. Seriously, that is one UGLY car. If I had that kind of money, it would be the last car in the world I would buy.

Nice specs though, hideous body (lol @ wood burning stove :P)

I like its looks from the rear and the side and the specs are awe inspiring. However the front view is a bit much for me - reminds me of Stephen King's "The Mangler".

This, however, is the most insane "SUV" I am aware of---> the Rinspeed Chopster.

The most insanely terrible "SUV" that is. I've never read a positive review on a Porsche Cayenn ever. I think they are just for people with no taste, too much money and no originality.

I am surprised at those pictures though.

How in GODS name did they manage to make a Cayen look even more ugly?? Thats seriously the most disgusting body kit I've ever seen.

It's the same with the X3 and X5. Oddly, not much whips a typical "Camel Trophy" Land Rover, I think it's way to slow for everyday use though.

In a similar class as the others, the only SUV that is actually rather good is the VW Touareg.

The Veyron ain't exactly an SUV. I saw however, in one of the German car magazines, that Bugatti may be making a "baby Veyron" that will compete in the price range of Porches and Aston Martins, i.e. for around R1m.
