no, you haxors! its not an aimbot - just the vampy ingame bot :D
vampy and co (http://www.unrealnorth.com/forum.php?action=viewtopic&id=37009)
the links to the bot(s) are in that thread
I'll leave it until some of you have played vampy and tell me how you find it ... (its a fairly small dl)
:yay:
Not a bad bot, although still predictable, just wait around the health vial areas and nab him when he comes :)
If you want a good laugh and enjoy your game and turn you local game into a simulated netplay game then try ServerBots, they even talk to you and give you grief.
Ask one of them if they are a bot ?
They even have pings and complain about the lag :)

Dang, I remember ServerBots from UT2K3. LOL, someone decided to put it on the SGS UT2K3 server one day. I wanted to duel a bit one evening and there the bot was. It had me thinking it was another human player for an embarrassingly long time. :D
I didn't know there was a version for UT2K4 also. Thx for posting that ProAsm. :)
This Is a Great Thread, Phanks cyghost! I love you Dude!
Manta, can start practicing Bots again ^^
Actually that vampy bot is quite a shrewd Bot.
I play with a modified RL, one I made thats like UT99's with grenades but holding left and right keys and this Bot quickly cottoned onto these grenades as I was paralysing the bugger with the them, and now he's learnt how to use them and the tables are turning :)

Haha! Yeah that thing is a li'l bugger!
I have a question though, does changing bot skill actually affect the bot at all or does the mutator override bot skill changes?

naw I played it on novice setting cause I thought the mut would override it - pwned vampy
then set to godlike and horse of another color it was :D
so it has an effect
thx for that other botty proasm - kinda can play some offline games now again :)
The mut can override several settings which I dont think are available to the admin, like with my Serverbots all these settings are altered to improve movement, jumping etc...
function SetupBot(Bot B, int wP)
{
local string sTemp;
sTemp = sWeapon[wP];
B.Aggressiveness = 1; // 0 to 1 (0.3 default, higher is more aggressive)
B.Accuracy = 1; // -1 to 1 (0 is default, higher is more accurate)
B.CombatStyle = 1; // 0 to 1 (0= stay back more, 1 = charge more)
B.StrafingAbility = 1; // -1 to 1 (higher uses strafing more)
B.Tactics = 1; // -1 to 1 (higher uses better team tactics)
B.ReactionTime = 1; // -1 to 1
B.Jumpiness = 1; // 0 to 1
if (wP > 0 && wP < 10)
B.FavoriteWeapon = class<Weapon>(DynamicLoadObject(sTemp, class'Class'));
}

Oh... I was wondering becasue I was playing with Auto Adjust skill and all I know was that I was getting my ass handed to me no matter what the skill adjusted too. :P

That bot is good and very accurate, I just been playing it on godlike, It movees real quick too so it is the perfect practice for a nOOb like me, hehe ... I beat it the third time round like (22 - 14) but I had to have a great game, plus I noticed it goes to early to the 100 shield and likes the vials like ProAsm said. It sometimes hits me before I come out of the corner so that sucks a bit and if you keep the lg & sr away from it, it is a much easier game. Thx cyghost the bot is good practice, it really helps man

SuperBot was also a good bot mutator for UT2003. It's a pitty the author never released one for UT2004 too.
