I do believe that hacking is far less prevalent then people seem to think

... in all my time playing UT on international servers I have seen about 4 honest to god aimbots (this was 2k3 and 2k4 - was abroad 2001 till 2005) but I have seen many people unfairly called haxors (including myself zomg!)

with latency what it is, some funny shit can happen online :p

not saying there are not cheats - just don't think the problem is as widespread as the hype seems to suggest.

I have just watched the campgrounds match and did not see a single thing that would indicate he was cheating. Not one. Am I missing something?

Edit: if the fact that he has good aim indicates cheating then I say we tar and feather Naut and Z1..

K, just watched the 2nd demo. Can someone pls point out where he is cheating? Coz I swear I don't see anything suspect about his game.

Since I moved to Germany, I saw one cheater. (Wallhacking). But apparently, cheating seems to be quite common in TAM.

Oh yeah, 30-40 % LG really isn't special. Even I have that.

Huh, read the thread, watch the demos and make up your own mind Terror. :)

Just wierd to me that some very reputable players are prepared to say that he's hacking, just an interesting read IMO.

watched both demos and its inconclusive in my mind - sure that wtfpwnedshot on CG at the 100a lift makes one blink for a sec or two and there are some other moments, but a) its online b) its TAM ... these things *are* possible

its way harsh to attack someone as a cheat on flimsy evidence like that and in such a public way

I say first make bloody sure of your facts and then get the idiot banned or hold your convictions to yourself

note: you can see ingame that the two players believe he has a trigger so this is just a conspiracy cooked up by people beaten in a small cup tourney ...or not? :P
