BF2142 help

Heya,

I got BF2142 yesterday as my late xmas present, dying to play it, but it crashes every 1 min into the game or so, it looks like it runs fine until I die, then it crashes, it just exits to windows, I already installed patch 1.10, no difference :/

Any Ideas?

Same thing is happening on my buds machine. No error messages, just a crash to windows.

What gfx card u using?

I'm running a Geforce 6800LE, yeah our problems sound similar.

i had a similar problem with my cd rom... It wouldnt let it load up even though it installed fine.

I got it sorted by putting on another machine. :D

Mebe u should do the same :P

I could just play for 30 mins, then it died on me :'(

Try turning VOIP off, seems to fix the problem :D

Lol - Yeah it was fun, just my fuggen aim was way out :( and The shaking hands did not help either :(

Ye sucks when PC lags it is much worst then having a ping of 100. Hope you get sorted out.

lol, thx just saying it how I see it... I know how it feels to have lag coz every game I play online lags.. get over a 100 ping :( so hopefully I also get sorted out in the near future.

hmmm most of my ecounters with tr1n that night i hit her 1st on her own pc and her on g5`s:P maybe i have "potential" too;)

so what i did i reinstalled the patch.......and i also fine that my sound had a
problem so i reinstalled that as well i think that my be your problem c if you can talk with your mic in game if not then reinstall patch and sound or just mute mic in windows.....chrs giz

im playing BF2 co-op with my m8 and i cant seem to get voip to work. im too dumb:o to figure out. can any1 help me.?:confused: i kinda figured it would work the BF2142 the same is if it was on BF2. some help please:rolleyes:

as far as know it wok's the same as bf2...............can you change any setting in game?
if not c if your mic is working in windows if not set it up in windows........
if it doesn't come right reinstall your sound.........the same shit happened to me
on bf2.....
at the end of the day i put a 5.1 sound card in and my problem was fixed
......the card it self is about R150.00 not that bad off a price.......

thanx man ill give it a shot. i found a program though that works fine but as soon as i play the sound gets all broken cuz it lags.
