meh, I hate speed traps - I hardly ever drive faster than 120 nowadays (gone are the days of yore when I was young and had brass ones) - but some roads being 60 is simply retarded, big two lane things and one must potter along at 60? and then I always get caught on those doing a safe 80

and what makes matters worse is we then get these cars that accelerate rather quickly almost forcing us to stay in first

Speed camera's are a joke in this country.

They should do what they do in the UK, display the camera's visibly so that you are consciously aware of them, thus drive slower to avoid getting a fine.

But SA? Not a fuck, it's all about the money. And the more they can fine, to get a bigger Xmas bonus the better.

Someone emailed them to me.

They should do what they do in Europe. If you speed the next robot will change before you get there thus forcing you to stop. So essentially speeding will only make u take longer to get around..
