Hey everyone...

This post is kinda directed at teh ::KO:: guys!

I noticed that you guys are becomming quite a large clan, and many of your players are good, like Sgt_Pepper, Lt_Firefox, Terror, Lord Scallywag, Ghostkilla (Congrats on joining BTW), N@me etc., etc.

BUT...

You guys have been recruiting some majorly new guys, and I feel that it is YOUR duty to show these guys the way to becomming a propper UT player... I noticed that ::KO::Rombus is also improving steadilly and is becomming harder to kill, so that's a good sign of progression! :D:D:D

I took the liberty to try and help one of your newer members ::KO::C-17, seeying that he is willing to learn at any cost (even a 60 - 0 whipping from Manta and a 25 - 0 from myself :P)... which is good... but he seems to need allot of "coaching"... and I feel that it is YOUR clan's finer player's duty to ensure that when someone has that ::KO:: tag infront of his name, he should keep your clan's name high...

PLEASE NOTE: I am not placing myself on a throne or trying to say that I am so l33t or whatever, I am also still a newcomer and learning the tricks of the traid myself, all I want to do is make you guys help your noobie players... as my clan helped this noob apon joining Naja!

KIND REGARDS and see you on teh servers! :D:D:D

:yay:

Hello

Warhead, this game is dying, and I think your taking a very competetive look at the clan, most clans are just for fun, so I dunno if their bothered.

But for those interested

I trained a lot of players in my past like Eradicator and Manta etc, just ask me and I'll give you a run and tips and stuff.

Don't listen to mister grumpy gills...

Yes, we have a small community: but its not the size but what you do with it that counts :P

<So far we aren't doing much, so I suppose the point is moot>

Alot of people are putting hopes on ut2k7 bringing in fresh blood and it probably will. Whether they stick around or not is another story all together.

I think its, been said before that ut has a very steep learning curve. So that probably drives new blood away, also the fact that the community isn't what you would call "nice" at the best of times.

Kewl PLato...

I thought I was the only one playing this game that still thought it can't be dying...

As for the UT2K7 issue... I heard that they might be removing some of the movement features of UT2K4 to make it more "nO_ob friendly"... I really hope this isn't the case... coz that is one of the more important reasons why I play this game... if they take that away... what are we left with??? A slower version of quake with UB3R graphics, shock combo's and multiple rockets... O_o

But let's not become all pessimistic before we cross the bridge... :P

Anyhoo...

Grumpy gills? remember who taught you to dodge jump? ;)
LOL well I don't think ut07 will be like ut04, im predicting that the teamgame aspect will improve(onslaught etc), but the dueling aspect and possibly teh ctf will go down the drain completely, and if thats true, then the competetive pplayers won't really appear much, they will be there to try out the game, but if the dueling aspect fails, their most likely to loose interest

Eisch... same for me... if I can't move in the same manner as we can do atm... then I'm sticking with UT2K4... and if that dies... so do I! O.o :P

Just kidding, but it is gonna suck if UT2K7 is crap...

But then again look at quake 3 vs quake 4 and CS1.6 and CS:S most uber players still preffer Q3 and 1.6.

So why don't we just stay with 2K4 and still poon everything that moves?!?!?! ;););)

lol, when ut2k3 came out, everyone hated dodge jump and LG, said UT99 was better and why they change it.

Now they want to take it out to be more like ut99, and everyone wants it to be like UT2k4.

Stange ppl (either way, I am sure the game will rock, just take getting used too)

I truely hope you are correct old wise one! :P ;)

I have a vid of some more fighting ffa type gameplay and it doesn't really seem that nice! :(

Anyhow... we'll cross the bridge when we get there... and I hope I don't need a upgrade for this game! :P

It's one thing to train your peons to get kills and stuff, but IMO it's just as important to teach them about online manners and etiquette.

The whole thing between UT99 and UT2K3 and UT2K4 and UT2K7 and UT2K9 and UT2K13 and UT2K13.5

Its always going to be the same story, and it all comes down to one thing: UT99-INERTIA.

Personally, Im just here to gooi stabs @ HajE and to maybe one day duel Macera :P

gooi stabs Z, I will poon u online, whilst u dish out virtual stabs :P

And yes Jaymac, itr should be up to the clan to keep its members inline. Ppl must not forget, once you wear that tag, ppl judge the whole clan on how 1 or 2 ppl act.
