Dear member,
This is the survival guide for those new (and old) to UZA.
Unlike many other sites, UZA is more a farm community than its metropolitan buzzling neighbours on the Internet. Sure, we get news from the "big cities" from time to time, but at its heart we are a wholesome, down to earth farm community that cares for little else but cattle and corn (UT and clans).
At the best of times we curse, spit, holler and “skinner”. Realise that this is never meant offensively, just part and parcel of the farm life. At the best of times we churn butter, borrow sugar, bake bread and have the occasional duelling banjo fight. This is as good as it gets.
However, there is a side to the UZA community that needs to be revealed and understood. It is a small community. Being the size it is, inbreeding is unfortunately present. We don't look down on it or ask too many questions, but that does bring out some "special" members from time to time. Mostly, we keep them locked in the room, but they do come out, do insult, and cause chaos wherever they go.
Please don't be offended, because as a farm community this is to be expected. If you are visiting with your high and mighty city boy mannerisms, you will soon feel the need to escape UZA, or find the lifestyle of our farmers totally offensive.
Enter at own peril, but respect us for what we are and you will get along just fine.
In a nutshell - Just because we farm in Kansas, doesn't mean we need to like you.
Heeeehaw!
The Nali Cow.
:)
