View Full Version : UZA LanIII Pics. BIG PIC! Bandwidth warning.
I will get to the rest of the pics tomorrow, but these first 3 gives the basic idea. I shrunk these pics to 800x600 (and compressed them somewhat) to fit the forum restrictions on file size, but I have a 2000pix resolution version of the of the group photo if anyone wants it.
First pic is a nice group photo. Anyone care to make little arrows with names?
Second pic is Manta's coffee powder he litterally eats. I thought people joked about that, but I witnessed it myself. Also note his UT messages - Was killed with the mini Haja style :p
Last pic needs no explaining.

Oh lighten up would you. It was arranged as a 21st bday surprise and however pathetic it might be to you, it was the only place the UT people ever get together - a LAN.

When you organise a lan gaming event, if you know and allow under 18's to be there you are legally responsible for their safety and wellbeing, as well as not to dispense them drugs, alcohol or expose them to strippers or pornography. To allow that sort of thing to happen at a formally organised lan, where you are well aware that there are minors present, and to condone it is to destroy the reputation go LAN gaming as a safe hobby.
How can parents trust their children to attend UZA (or otherwise) LAN events aside from public competitions if this sort of shit goes down and everyone sits idly by.
It's a 16 age restricted game, swearing and violence is one thing. Pornography? You have to be a bloody moron to not do the maths there.

Ye they did, we also made sure that written consent was given by the parents and they were informed one week prior to the LAN.

Honestly, I have no issues with anyone here but 2 people, i dont need to mention names and for once, no Scrye, you are not one of them. People here deem it fine to speak their minds and actually whether or not this has something to do with them is an entirely different story. Mburr, i understand your view about letting everyone know b4hand, but who posts about even thinks about posting consent for the youngsters? Secondly, i don't need anyone getting high and mighty when all avenues were followed to ensure no one was placed in any situation they should not have been.
Either way, i will be posting about the next lan soon, where there will be alchohol, smoking and foul language, apart from this, if you receive a pm, it is a personal invite to attend this lan, i will have a lan section opened for those interested, i ask that if you are not invited u do not post in that section, unless you have something decent to say.
