Been working on this 'toy' for a while, I know lots of poeple like using Userbars in their sigs, and a lot of people also use sigs with dynamic content (BF2 stats, Last.FM info, Sloganizer, etc), so I though, why not make easy-to-create dynamic Userbars :D.

Enter Dynabar.

This is actually the second version, the previous one was released quite some months ago, but wasn't all that cool. I'd like some Real People [tm] to give this a spin, and perhaps provide a few ideas or suggestions.

You can find the Dynabar Designer here: http://dynabar.shrimpworks.za.net/designer/

It lets you select images, overlays, choose plugins, set gradients, and whatever else.

Feel free to create as many as you like :).

Once you're done, you can even head over to this page: http://dynabar.shrimpworks.za.net/designer/browse.php which shows a gallery of existing Dynabars, and lets you group them (up to 10) into a single animated (yet still dynamic content) bar.

Like that :).

It's running off my home line at the moment for testing, and plugins like the TrackMania one are particularly slow (TM servers are rather slow to respond in general, though).

Suggestions for more plugins (using web services which are able to return simple texts, etc), features, etc, would be welcome.

this is coolios, played some with it a bit,
but is there a way to add your pic only in
the front of the bar?

like on this one i would like to have the battlefield 2 part of your basic bf2 pic
but if i use the piece i want
itsays it has to be 350x19 :(

All you need to do is create yourself a small 350x19 pic with the part you want on the left, on the left, save it as a JPG, GIF or PNG, and upload as the base.

You can then even add another PNG layer with snazzy transparency and use it as the overlay for even better effect.

It's pretty much up to you. You can lay out your 350x19 base image however you like, as long as it's 350x19.

How do we delete userbars?

Shrimp

Shouldn't need to. A bar is only actually saved once you click the "Save" button. If you just leave it and go away without saving, it'll be cleaned up automatically later.

Once you save though, it's permanent. :).
