View Full Version : UnrealZA forum style
I'm busy re-doing the look of the site again, this forum stuff-up is a good excuse :P.
Anyway, I've got it working on the forums so far, so if you'd prefer something a bit darker than the default vB style, go to your User CP (http://www.unreal.co.za/forums/usercp.php) -> Edit Options (http://www.unreal.co.za/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions), and right at the bottom select UnrealZA from the forum style list.
The icons and things haven't been done yet, so most pics have white jaggies around them still.

Keep in mind it's a work in progress ;)
Hey Shrimp boy,
I find the yellow a bit hard to read against the light grey, but all in good.
For some funny reason I prefer the clean white default theme now. :)
Thanks for the work Shrimp :D.
Looks like the bomb shrimp.

i think the yellow used trhought the skin is bit too bright especially in the usernames & forum hyperlinks.
speaking of which, the backgrouns for "Help & Tips" and "Clans" should be changed. its hard to notice (@ least for me) and tell it apart from the forum headings (General, Technical, Clan Forums etc). make it the same light grey colour as the others? (like the "UnrealZA Ladder", "UnrealEd" bits). i see both the default & UnrealZA skin has this issue, so i duno...
getting back to the yellow, just make it a bit darker (not too dark & not orange :P )

the little table on top which is always present when viewing different parts of the forum with links going "through the tree": e.g. UnrealZA > General > General > UnrealZA forum style
can we have one placed @ the bottom of the pages as well (or @ least @ the bottom of the viewthread page?) its quite annoying having to scroll to the top to do it :)
