Hi Guys,
The LAN venue i will be arranging and checking this evening, here are some things we have learnt from the last time:
1) No old, slightly dodgy, "i have used this extension for 10 years" cables will be allowed in the venue, PERIOD.
2) Please guys, there is a bar there, that is fully stocked, no booze is allowed to be brought on to the premises, this is the landlords condition not my own, however he does have everything you need therefore i dont see a problem :)
General Info:
1) Entrance to lan R30 - Dont ask why, just trust me, it's for a good reason.
2) Slander, swearing, deformation of character and misbehaviour - allowed
3) Physical threats made on anyone will result in the guilty party being removed by either myself or Divexo.
4) If you bring booze in after reading this post, you will be removed by either myself or Divexo.
5) If you claim to be hotter than Divexo you will be removed, as i feel i need to repeat, that nothing, NOTHING, is hotter than Divexo.
6) Safe Parking is provided
7) YES, the LAN is running for an entire weekend, comprised of 2 full days (Sat --> Sunday 5pm)
8) I may have to streak at this lan due to a bet i lost with NAutilian, this not advised for sensitive viewers.
Guidelines
1) LAN cables are provided
2) Servers have been provided
3) Where possible, please use one cable for both monitor and PC, this will limmit the amount of extensions and multi's required.
4) Please bring a Multi and extension with you J.I.C. We may require them.
LAN Matches
1) Not for the GM tourney but purely for competition we are going to organise various 5 on 5 matches. That way every clan gets a shot and we have some good clean fun. Should a clan not have representatives there, clan free members can join in!
2) Dueling is welcome, however you are not allowed to challenge Divexo as this would be stupid, because as mentioned before, nothing is as hot as Divexo.
Leeching
1) The DC++ server will be running again, thanks to both Bl@de and Nautilian.
2) Please limmit your network sharing, rather than copy via the network, use the DC++ provided server.
3) IF you copy via the network and manage to crash it, or infect any machine with a virus, you dont even wanna know... clean your shit before you come.
Guys, lets have a blast and get another notch on the belt for another great LAN.
