Well great news ppl, Crazychic and myself have gotten hold of Fieldy who is the orgoniser of the Carnage lans, he will be supplying all the equipment for our lan and another server, he has also posted my poster I did on his website and will add us to his news letter. We are going to see if we can get and accurate count on the hall and see if we can make the numbers greater than 40. We just need to check the power issue and will let you ppl know what is going to happen.

The equipment offered are all Power cables, all lan cables, 2 - 3 D-link gigabyte switches, server and a projector with ap system for all gameing action. so we will have 4 x UT servers :) . By the sound of things this is going to rock and we will be kicking some mager ass here .

FIELDY IS HAVEING A CARNAGE LAN THE WEEKEND BEFORE OURS IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW CONTACT ME.

Get onto the N1, carry on straight until you see N1 city shopping centre turn there, then you drive to a robot turn right or was that left. Then you drive to another robot, turn left or was that right, and drive to the end of the road and u will see the hall.

Hey there Cripple - X the structure is as follows.

1. Fieldy (Carnage Owner) will supply the equipment and Pox, Fieldy and myself will be setting everything up including the tables, chairs and network.
2. Pox and Myself will be the designated UT Admins and Network support with Fieldy's help of course.
3. CrazyChic will do what chics do make great coffee bitch and moan and generally keep us intertained while we setup, she will also be awnsering the phone as she is supplying directions. :D

Pox, CrazyChic and I are takeing Friday off work to set the lan up so you guys can just rockup plug and play.

Hope this puts your mind at ease.

A friendly reminder to all the UT players!!!

This Weekend is Carnage.LAN. We ARE going to have a UT tournament. We ARE going to give away a lot of prize money for the Tournament. Please can we get as many UT'ers as possible to support this next LAN, so that we can have UT at all the future LAN's.

It is going to be a very exhausting 2 weeks for me :D 2 LAN's 2 Weekends. Better book a few days off work to recover after the 14th :)

Its quite scary watching this because you about to see a car roll and someone die or get seriously injured.

my advice is to give acid_burn a call (his cell is a couple of post above this one) They are starting to set it up quite early (from 11:00 I believe) and my experience with these things (mostly OC) is that there will be a spot or two and if not they open on Saturday morning
