Hows this,

I was looking around for some servers to play on, outside SA and found this site with linked servers........ so what the hell gave it a bash.

Changed my netspeed downs to 2500 as to be able to play a bit.

Ping : 380 +
P/L : 10 - 20 all the time

Some guy joins the duel server and it took him about 1 min 30 sec to finally kill me bearing in mind that i can run faster the my machine gun bullets and if i look to the side a can actually see them :) ..... he types in NOOB and then disconnects....

I have yet to see that on our servers,

Hi,

From my (short) experience thus far with the Unreal ZA community, I can just say you are genuinely a nice bunch of people. I was online yesterday, and many good players like Max, BMU, Nevets, Jaymac and others offered advice and assistance and gave me some tips to improve. GM<DJ>MF even gave me some training on one of the duel servers.

So thanks to all, you're a great community.

I haven`t really sampled outside ut talent so I can`t say if we are indeed a 1337 community. Probably gonna have to ask some of the guys who have played internationally.

I don`t know if you can judge a community on one of its players (i.e. that idiot you were talking about) however that guy must really suck :P

All I can say is that I enjoy dueling the guys in this community as they make it fun for me! :D

I play Warcraft III a little on international servers, and yeah, the guys are generally pretty unfriendly. I once had a situation where this idiot was swearing and carrying on for me to quit (so he could win) before he even knew where my base was!!

I once also joined an international UT server and pretty much the same thing happened to me. When I explained that I was from SA and wanted to see how they play over there, the guy started having even more hysterics. So I just LOL'ed him and pissed off.

UZA may have their flames and their fights... but at least we're not complete idiots to one another. It's probably due to the fact that SA is a generally more friendly country, but I reckon it's also because we're a smaller community and we get to know each other a little better.

I played on American and Far East servers for nearly two years

sometimes people were great and sometimes they were dickheads for no apparent reason

I guess thats humanity in a nutshell :confused:

I ventured onto the SA scene with my 56 k line - and surprise surprise - the ppl I met so far are really nice

good job and well done

manta has mad skillz and a bloke form TA also kicked my butt royally - sorz forgot the name m8 - when its not easy and straight forward, its in the one ear and out the other (in this case eyes?)

like a rematch when I have that broadband :P

so I guess who ever said this was a ******* community is pretty clueless

thumbs up to UT SA - now if I can just convince you blokes to play assault ... or TAM

both of those high ping is less of a factor :rolleyes:

Yes I have been banned from an international server for having a "aimbot" supposedly when I headshotted a dude that stood still and sho with lg
I mean none of them could even dodge seriously i checked they all run in a line imo
