Help: Converting UT Demo's to AVI

I am successfully using the game's utility to convert demo's to AVI movies, but they come out without sound.

Is this just how it is, or am I doing something wrong?

Is there a 3rd party application that maybe works better?

ye the sound thing is normal.

Fraps can record sound, but the video is choppy, the people at own-age.com recommends using dumpframes:
