Do you go for revenge kills?

By revenge kill I mean specifically going back to where you just died in the hope of finding your killer there and visiting some righteous retribution on him.

I must admit that I am very prone to this. The more nasty the death, the higher the probability of me going back with the sole purpose of avenging myself. I'll even ignore regular objectives, as well as make multiple attempts in the event of failure. :o

Of course, when one's mission is successful there is a feeling of immense satisfaction. :D

So, do you or don't you? Does it depend on who killed you, or is everyone fair game?

Revenge is sweet , yet I hardly go out seeking it directly . It's more satisfying when it happens on the spur of the moment and thats when I laugh my ass off.

Depends on probability of success and the distance to travel; I don't go for revenge too often.

Getting revenge on a tank driver can take a few lives as well :(

It is a real treat when you manage to kill the person with the exact same method of destruction they used against you though :)

i'd go "no" because i use the chance to respawn as a chance to figure out what else i can do to get back at said person. perhaps make him regret killing me in the first place because i respawned @ went to get the redeemer and nuked their core :D i must admit though, that i am not entirely free of thise urge to exact revenge, i get really pissed off when i get slammed with a manta or tank shell form out of nowhere at which point righteous vengeance must be dealt out!

I seem to favour exacting my revenge in a more patient style. I will tick the box next to your name in my enormous black book and then when I incidentally cross your path at a later stage, maybe even in another map or gametype, I will do something unspeakable that I normally wouldn't dream of.

I also (occasionally) visit the sins of a single player on his entire team. :D

I dont go seeking revenge but if you can take out the guy in a lamer fashion then he did you! thats way better! If I get taken out with a Rocket I would like the satisfaction of returning a favour next time around with the Bio rifle!

If I am spawn raped more than once, or, if I leave you alone and you shoot me in the back, as I pass, I will then not play the game anymore. I will however leave all other players and look for you. In most case's I will kill you. :P I do this for the rest of the game. I try to not do this in Team games though. It would be very selfish on my part if I did. :P
