View Full Version : SafeCall - Where?
Anybody remember the little app Dominion wrote ages ago? Automatically disconnects your modem/dial-up at specific times (Keeping you in call-more).
His site seems to be a little buggered, if I got it right... www.digitalera.co.za

i got a copy somewhere.
proasm's utmonitor also does it as far as i know.
I just use getright... u can set it to disconnect at either :
1. actual time of day or
2. number of minutes/hours from now or a specified time.

or you could just get ADSL
Switch Off works just as well
Getright worked OK but it irritated me with it's "Disconnect in 30 seconds" when it runs out of downloads... so I miss the simple Safe Call...
I like my sleep, but some mornings I also have to be out the house WAY before 7, so lose a (precious) 45 minutes +. And there's allways that semi-drugged day, where you remember at 17h00 that ... FOOK I FORGOT TO SWITCH OFF THE 'UCKER! $$$ :p
Will check others though, thanks.

Pyro, I will talk to dominion when I see him on msn next time and get him to mail it to me (if he still has it) then pass it onto you. Maybe get cata or pest to put it onto their ftp :0
