anybody got any ideas for this?
I have tried different drivers and the lot... im getting pissed now!
try another mic, otherwise your soundcard is at fault maybe?

I think it was sam that asked the same question a while back.
Flux, do you have EAX enabled in your audio settings, it's been known to have a few issues, some ppl are luck & get it to work but other not. Try turning that option off or set your 'audio mode' to '3d audio' or another setting that doesn't use EAX.
Maybe that'll help?!

yeah, see the problem is that it works 100% in windows
but not any games at all, i can hear myself but no one can hear me.

i posted this before somewhere (just dont ask where). anyway, like said above EAX causes issues with voice comms (in UT2004 a lot afaik). to solve it, i switched the audio in ut2004 to 3d audio (disables eax) and then in the eax console itself (through windows) u disable EAX OR change the enviroment setting. i went from "drum & bass" to "small room" and this solved it. i can actually enable EAX in the console & still have voice comms work, but its not 100% of the time (which is why i recommend it being tuned off)
